Great value for money here, with a LOT of space, bang in the centre of town – with a garden too. This place would be perfect for a bed and breakfast, with the possibility of a commercial space (cafe, shop etc) on the ground floor, plus a garage. Because it once belonged to the village dentist, there is even some curious old dental “furniture” downstairs, which might be of interest.

Originally built at considerable cost, the house is in great preserved condition with beautiful parquet floors and large rooms. There are already 4 bathrooms, and up to 6 bedrooms too. The house has large windows overlooking the town high street, plus a balcony upstairs. 

The garden is sizeable, and although overlooked by other houses, it has an outside fireplace and paved are for outside dining. 

I find the front facia of the building disappointing, having been rendered an ugly green. But underneath it is a stone building, and if the render was removed is would become one of the more important buildings in the village. Alternatively just a different colour would make all the difference!
