Michael Reiley

Sound & Vibration

Michael Reiley is a sound healer, music producer, and Deep Listening® facilitator with a deep commitment to the transformative potential of sound. His work combines his technical expertise in music production with his spiritual practice, offering immersive sound healing experiences that bring harmony and relaxation. Guided by his background in Deep Listening and sonic mindfulness meditation, Michael creates therapeutic soundscapes using instruments like crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, flutes, and percussions, inviting participants into profound states of inner awareness.


At ASHA, Michael leads group and individual sessions that empower others to connect with their inner landscapes, providing a safe space for emotional healing, spiritual exploration, and deep relaxation. Through his unique fusion of music and meditation, Michael supports others on a journey toward personal transformation and balance.



Qualifications & Experience


  • Certified Deep Listening® Facilitator and adjunct professor at the Center for Deep Listening at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, following the lineage of Pauline Oliveros.

  • Certified Music Practitioner (Music for Healing and Transition Program) and Certified Mindfulness Instructor from the Science of Mindful Awareness.

  • Holder of a Music for Wellness certificate from Berklee College of Music.

  • Over 20 years as a musician, sound healer, and producer, with music featured in dance, film, installations, and for clients such as Alchemy of Breath, Wavepaths, and IKI Health.

  • Co-founder of Listening Bodies, offering collaborative workshops and Deep Listening practices with his partner, Monica.

 

One-to-One Sessions (1.5 hours)


  • Sound Healing A personalised 90-minute session using sound to promote deep relaxation, stress relief, and emotional healing.


Group Sessions (1.5 - 2 hours)


  • Ecstatic Dance A liberating movement experience set to dynamic music, guiding participants to connect with their bodies and express freely.

  • Sound Bath A deeply relaxing group session featuring instruments like crystal bowls and Tibetan bowls, creating a meditative soundscape for inner healing.

  • Listening Bodies A collaborative workshop with Monica Gentile, blending movement research and somatics.
